WA Cricket Foundation lend a hand during Telethon weekend

As Telethon raised more than $90 million for WA’s sick and vulnerable children, Perth Scorchers players were on hand to help take donations during the historic weekend.

Perth Scorchers players Lance Morris, Joel Paris, Lilly Mills and Amy Edgar were on hand to visit the Telethon Call Centre over the weekend, joining volunteers in raising vital funds for sick and disadvantaged children across Western Australia.

Their visit highlighted the ongoing community partnership between Telethon and the WA Cricket Foundation, which continues to strengthen community connections through sport.

The players jumped behind the phones to take donations, chat with generous callers and encourage Western Australians to dig deep for the state’s biggest charity event.

The Foundation’s community partnership with Telethon reflects a shared goal of supporting children and families in need while fostering a sense of community pride.

Telethon are Community Partners of the WA Cricket Foundation, donating across People with a Disability and Aboriginal Cricket pillars.
