Empowering diversity, belonging, and wellbeing through cricket

WA Cricket Foundation drives change in the lives of young women, fosters connections with Aboriginal communities, and creates safe spaces for young people of all abilities to find belonging and enhance their physical, social, and mental wellbeing – all through the game of cricket.

The Foundation, an independent arm of WA Cricket, uses cricket as the vehicle to grow opportunity and create a sense of belonging for people of all abilities and backgrounds. It is through our sport we promote wellbeing, resilience, and connection to those who are underserved in our West Australian community.

Our community programs run under three key Pillars – People With a Disability, Young Women and Aboriginal Cricket. All money to support the programs is raised through our fundraising activities, with funds raised helping us to deliver on our Vision and Mission.

VISION

Our vision is to be an active and engaged leader in Australian sport, who seeks to enrich, support and inspire our state to be a better, healthier, more inclusive community.

MISSION

Our mission is to deliver social outcomes through cricket. We have chosen four areas to focus our funding on: Aboriginal cricket, people with a disability, young women in cricket, and creating an inclusive community hub at the WACA Ground.
