Double dose of footy at WACA Ground

It is a double delight for footy fans at the WACA Ground with two games being played across Friday and Saturday.

First up, it is the U18 AFL National Championships between Western Australia and Victoria Country.

WA were victorious in their last game against South Australia, coming away with a 28-point win.

Harley Reid and the VIC Country squad were less successful in their last game, also against South Australia, beaten by 19 points.

Gate 8 opens at 5pm for a 6pm bounce and entry is free with food and beverages available from the Boundary Room café.

Then on Saturday, East Fremantle host the West Coast Eagles in the WAFL.

Gate 8 opens at 12pm for a 2:10pm bounce and WACA and East Fremantle Members get complimentary access with their current membership cards.

Food and beverages will be available from the Boundary Room café and the South West Pavilion.

These events are able to be held at the WACA Ground due to the ground lengthening that took place as part of the ongoing WACA Ground Improvement Project.
