WA Cricket Foundation’s Aboriginal Talent Academy officially launched their 2024-25 season this week, with the announcement of this year’s squad.
Under the watchful eyes of head coach, Zoe Goss, and assistant coach, Alex Stuart, those selected will attend the full 10-week program.
The Train-On squad, consisting of six players, will attend training sessions throughout the program, where a number of the sessions will have a specific batting, bowling and wicketkeeping and fielding focus.
The Academy is designed for players from the ages of 14-24 and strives to create a welcome environment, where the selected players thrive and exceed in their skill levels.
Trials were held for both metropolitan and regional cricketers, with several fresh faces joining those selected in the team last season.
