Aboriginal Talent Academy launched for 2023-24 season

WA Cricket’s Aboriginal Talent Academy launched their 2023-24 season on Friday night at the WACA Ground.

The Academy is for players aged 14 – 25 who are consistently playing a high level of cricket and willing to commit to the National Indigenous Cricket Championships (NICC) for Western Australia.

Trials were held for metropolitan and regional hopefuls with several new faces joining a number of players retained from last season.

Under the guidance of coach Zoe Goss, players selected for the Academy will train fortnightly, with training sessions for the NICC to take place on alternate weeks.
